i know i’m fine
but when i try
to write anything it comes out sad
oh it always comes out sad

i knew pain
at too young an age
is that why i don’t know how to
make art that’s not so blue

there’s a part of me that wishes
that i would grow to forget who i was
but even the thought of losing him
is too much to bear cause he made it through so much

so i’ll try
to find a silver line

life’s going good
and i know i should
be focused on what’s going right
but i look back at darker times

i get so mad
whenever i’m sad
my neutral is south of everyone
i promise i like to have fun
